It is with immense pleasure and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the International Conference on Physics in Medicine (ICPM-2025), scheduled to take place on 16–17 October 2025 at the Nabab Nawab Ali Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka, and the Atomic Energy Centre, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
This significant event is organized by the Bangladesh Medical Physics Association (BMPA), in collaboration with the Department of Bio-Medical Physics & Technology (BMPT) of Dhaka University. This conference serves as a premier platform for professionals in the field of medical physics to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations, and build meaningful collaborations.
The theme of this year’s conference, “Medical Physics in Cancer Management,” underscores the critical role that medical physics plays in the fight against cancer- from precise imaging and diagnostics to advanced radiotherapy techniques. As cancer remains one of the most pressing global health concerns, the insights and discussions fostered through ICPM-2025 will be more relevant and impactful than ever.
I warmly encourage all interested participants to submit their research findings. Please note the last date for abstract submission is 20 August 2025, and the final date for registration is 15 September 2025. We anticipate a dynamic program filled with keynote speeches, technical sessions, and opportunities to connect with peers from around the world.
