It is with great pleasure and honor that I welcome you to the International Conference on Physics in Medicine (ICPM-2025), to be held on 16–17 October 2025 at the Nabab Nawab Ali Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka, and the Atomic Energy Centre, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
This year’s conference is especially significant, as it brings together global experts, researchers, and professionals under the theme: “Medical Physics in Cancer Management.”
As cancer continues to be one of the most formidable health challenges worldwide, medical physics plays an increasingly vital role in diagnosis, treatment, and innovation. ICPM-2025 aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, encourage knowledge exchange, and spotlight advancements that are transforming cancer care and beyond.
This event organized by the Bangladesh Medical Physics Association (BMPA) in collaboration with the Department of Bio-Medical Physics & Technology (BMPT), University of Dhaka, which stands as a testament to our shared commitment to excellence in medical physics and its real-world applications.
Bangladesh Medical Physics Association (BMPA) is the national affiliate of both the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP) and the Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP). BMPA actively collaborates with various national and international scientific organizations to advance the field of medical physics in Bangladesh and beyond. We are committed to the growth and development of the medical physics community in Bangladesh. ICPM-2025 is a continuation of this mission- bringing together thought leaders, researchers, clinicians, and young professionals to explore the frontiers of science and technology in medicine.
I encourage all medical physicists, clinicians, engineers, teachers and students to participate actively. Whether you are presenting your research, networking with peers, or exploring cutting-edge developments, ICPM-2025 promises to be an inspiring and enriching experience.
Please note that the last date for abstract submission is 20 August 2025. I urge all interested participants to submit your work and contribute to the collective advancement of our field.
